Spider Kiss, Ellison's hard-to-find rock novel, finally gets hardcover treatment -- and even 35 years after its first appearance as a Gold Medal paperback, it's still a marvelous book (though not "the best" novel about rock and roll; for that, check out George R.R. Martin's The Armageddon Rag).
Also in this omnibus edition: Stalking the Nightmare, the 1982 story collection. Neither it nor Spider Kiss has been updated here -- except by the addition of White Wolf's trademark typos -- but Ellison does offer a new and compelling essay, "Let's Pretend."
